Rex on Demand has just released his new EP “The Angel Sessions”, and it’s one of those projects that instantly pulls you in. The three-track collection feels short, but it makes up for it with how much emotion and detail are packed into each song.
It opens with “White Rose Bleeds”, a track full of energy and sharp rhythm. The melodies are catchy, and the vocals feel powerful but effortless at the same time. The production really stands out here, giving the song a punch that makes you want to hit repeat.
Then comes “Benjy”, which has a slower tempo compared to the first track but still carries the same soul and intensity. The instrumentation blends beautifully with Rex’s voice, and the message behind it gives the song even more weight. It’s less about the hype and more about depth, and it works perfectly in the middle of the EP.
Closing things off is “Queen of White”, a softer and emotional piece that shows a completely different side of this talented artist. The vocals are tender, the songwriting is beautiful and the whole track feels like a calm and heartfelt goodbye. It’s gentle, but it sticks with you.
The only downside to this EP is that it ends too soon. We could have listened to more of Rex on Demand’s music for hours. His voice is rich, his style feels genuine, and his songs are memorable. We really enjoyed this project from start to finish, and we’re excited to see what he does next.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:

From the new-wave grit of Elvis Costello to the belt-out anthems of Bruce Springsteen, the rock of that era inspires Rex on Demand.
Based out of London, England, Rex on Demand was introduced to the world of music at the age of six when a cello was handed to him by the school’s music department. Its versatility and lyricism attracted him, and he pursued all eight grades throughout school. During university, Rex on Demand began writing songs – familiarising himself with other instruments.
His latest release, ‘The Angel Sessions’, is an EP consisting of three original songs. Though the songs span many topics, from true crime to politics, they are all thematically linked through explorations of death and loss in different contexts. Along with the other tracks produced by Rex on Demand, he approaches his music as an outlet to explore his thoughts and feelings about both personal and current affairs.
