4 YEARS LATER just dropped his debut album “Make Me Make Sense”, and it’s one of those projects that feels personal yet instantly relatable. At only 20 years old, Ben Heinze (the voice behind the name) proves he’s not just another new artist trying to find his sound, he already knows who he is. He wrote, recorded, and produced the entire thing himself in his home studio, and that DIY touch really shows in the best way.
The album leans into pop and alternative, with electronic layers that keep things fresh but never drown out his voice. And that voice, honestly, it’s the standout here. There’s something both powerful and vulnerable about the way he delivers these songs. The choruses hit hard, and the melodies stick in your head long after the music stops.
The record circles around the messy business of emotions, how hard it is to put feelings into words, and how much we struggle with what we leave unsaid. That theme runs through the whole project, but it never feels heavy-handed. Instead, it’s honest, like a conversation you’d have with a close friend who just gets it.
We really enjoyed listening to this album all the way through. It’s heartfelt and one of those rare projects where every track feels like it belongs. The energy and the incredible choruses make it a record we’ll be keeping on repeat. For us, this album is easily one of the most exciting debuts we’ve heard this year.
