Jessie Dipper – I’m A Mess

Jessie Dipper’s new anthem, I’m A Mess is a raw and powerful track that instantly grabs your attention. Her voice is emotional and full of character, the kind you’ll remember long after hearing it. Every line she delivers feels honest and heartfelt and the lyrics are both catchy and deeply relatable.

The song blends grunge-inspired energy with modern polish, giving it a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The guitars are gritty and dynamic, driving the song forward while the rest of the instruments fill the space with intensity and texture. The production is clean but still lets the rawness shine through, making it feel alive and real.

The chorus is explosive, the kind you can imagine a crowd shouting back at her during a live show. It’s not just a song, it’s an anthem for embracing life’s chaos and finding strength in it. Jessie’s style stands out because it’s unfiltered yet refined, bold yet vulnerable. We think this song is something special. It’s the kind of track that makes you stop what you’re doing and really listen and it leaves you wanting more from Jessie Dipper.

Jessie’s most recent release of ‘I’m A Mess’ comes as a sonic departure to the live acoustic folk of ‘Nashville Vignettes EP’ 2025, shattering expectations with roaring guitars, pounding drums, and vocals that move with startling agility between a guttural rasp and a broken-glass falsetto. Think early  meets ‘s sneering self-awareness, all with the introspective lyrical craftsmanship that’s come to define Jessie’s work. Thematically, I’m A Mess picks up where 2022’s ‘Little Miss London’ (from the ‘Sticky Floors’ album) left off. But while that track painted an external portrait of chaos — lipstick smudged across a mirror, whiskey spilled on train seats — this one turns the spotlight inward.

Jessie continues to explore the very human cry for the ‘more’ to life, considering how grief, joy, beauty and brokenness all permeate together to create lives that require authenticity to be lived out.
