After the success of “FOOL’S GOLD”, Brian Heywood returns with a fresh single that might just be one of his best yet. “Peace of Mind” released today, is a beautiful mix of indie pop, acoustic rock and folk, all wrapped in a powerful message about our changing world.
From the very first note, you can feel the energy and intention behind this song. The acoustic guitar work stands out immediately, setting a natural tone that feels both raw and comforting. Brian’s vocals are rich and full of emotion and his performance feels honest and direct, like he’s speaking right to you. We also loved the addition of the soprano saxophone, which adds a unique and almost haunting touch to the track.
The songwriting is thoughtful, balancing introspective lyrics with a bigger ecological message. It’s not easy to make a song feel this meaningful and catchy at the same time, but Brian pulls it off perfectly. You can tell this isn’t just music for him, it’s a way of expressing deep concerns and feelings about the world we live in.
With this new single, Brian shows once again that he’s not just an artist, but a true storyteller and craftsman. We really loved this one. It’s a reminder that great music can also make you think.
