EP: Lindsey Hull – Learning to Fly

Lindsey Hull is back with a brand new EP called “Learning to Fly” and it’s truly something special. With six songs full of heart, honesty and warmth, this release feels like a breath of fresh air. Lindsey’s style blends indie-folk sounds with rich emotion, and you can hear her roots and storytelling background in every line.

The EP opens with “I’d Like To” and it’s the perfect way to start. The acoustic guitar sets a peaceful tone and Lindsey’s voice feels like a warm hug. The harmonies in the background are soft and soothing and the songwriting is simple yet meaningful. It’s a calm and heartfelt song that pulls you in right away.

“Just Keep on Walking” follows with a slightly more haunting vibe. The melodies linger in your mind and there’s something about the way she sings that makes the song feel very personal. The lyrics are relatable and you can hear every bit of emotion in her voice.

Two standout songs are “iisily” and “Maybe Someday”. Both are beautifully crafted and full of feeling. They show off Lindsey’s ability to take simple production and turn it into something truly moving. Her voice has a way of carrying the weight of each lyric without ever sounding forced.

“Brand New” is my personal favorite. There’s something about it that makes you want to hit replay again and again. It feels hopeful and alive, like you’re turning a page in your own story. The production is clean and lets her vocals shine through.

Finally, “As I Fly” wraps up the EP in the most charming way. It’s powerful, emotional, and full of grace. The instrumental work is lovely and her vocals are amazing. It’s the kind of song you want to sit with for a while.

Overall, this new EP is a warm and honest project that shows Lindsey Hull at her best. The songwriting is strong, the melodies are memorable, and the production lets the emotion shine through. She has a rare gift for turning real-life feelings into songs that stick with you. It’s a must-listen for anyone who loves heartfelt folk music. We’ll definitely be keeping this one on repeat.
