Grapefruite’s debut album, “Lost in Chiang Mai” is a beautiful and emotional ride through change, self-discovery and nostalgia. With just seven tracks, the album feels like a personal journal set to music. Inspired by her move to Thailand, she shares raw emotions and honest stories that feel easy to connect with.
The mix of rock and pop feels fresh and unique. The production is creative with smooth guitar and bass adding depth to each track. Her rich voice shines throughout, it’s soft, powerful and full of emotion. One of our favorite tracks here is “Melancholy” which perfectly captures the album’s moody but comforting tone.
The melodies are gentle yet catchy and the songwriting feels sincere. Every song feels like a memory and you can hear how much love and thought went into each one. We really enjoyed this album. It’s simple and easy to get lost in. Grapefruite has a unique sound and a strong voice as both a singer and storyteller. This album is a solid debut, and we’re excited to hear what she puts out next.
