Garage rock trio Anti-Corn League comes out swinging with their new single, “It Won’t Stop” and it’s one of those tracks that grabs you from the first note and refuses to let go. Based in Pittsburgh, the band made up of Chris (guitar/vocals), Justin (bass), and Nicole (drums) brings a raw and fuzzed-out energy that feels both fresh and familiar in all the right ways.
Right away, the energy of this song hits hard. There’s something wild and urgent in the way the guitars crash in and the rhythm section pushes forward, almost like the song is chasing you down the street. It’s loud, it’s messy in a good way and it’s incredibly alive. You can tell this band really poured their spirit into this track.
The track tackles the nonstop chaos of modern life, the endless news cycle, the noise of social media and the pressure it all puts on our minds. The lyrics are simple and direct, but they stick with you. They match the sonic intensity perfectly which makes the message hit even harder.
One thing that really stands out is how clean and professional the track sounds, despite keeping that gritty garage vibe. The melodies here are surprisingly catchy too. Even with all the distortion and drive, the song stays memorable and that’s not easy to do with this kind of sound. The instrumentation is tight, rich, and just messy enough to keep things exciting.
We loved this track. It’s honest, loud and full of personality. Anti-Corn League has a style that stands out and a message that feels real. After hearing this new single, we’re fans and will keep an eye out for what they do next.
