French Exit – Yes

French Exit are keeping the energy high with their latest single, “Yes”. This London-based alt-rock band knows how to bring powerful sound and raw emotion together, and this track is no exception.

The guitars and drums hit hard, making this track an instant standout. The production is crisp, with a polished mix that lets every instrument shine. The vocals carry real weight, packed with emotion that makes the song feel both personal and nostalgic. The melodies are super catchy and the lyrics are honest and strong, something that sticks with you even after the song ends.

Teaming up with producer R. Andrew Humphrey, known for shaping the sound of Twin Peaks, the band captures a bold and unfiltered energy here. You can feel the passion in every note and it’s clear this band is onto something special.

We love the intensity of this new single. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to turn the volume up and lose yourself in the music. French Exit is proving they have the skill and style to make a big impact and we can’t wait to hear what they do next.

ABOUT THE BAND:

Formed in 2023, French Exit is a four-piece alt-rock band built on the creative partnership of brothers Will and Toby Langston. What began as a songwriting collaboration quickly evolved into a full-fledged project as the duo brought in like-minded musicians to craft their unique sound. After refining their style, they hit the live circuit, delivering electrifying performances at iconic venues like the O2 Academy Islington, The Windmill in Brixton and more.

Their debut single, “Still,” dropped in January 2024 and quickly gained traction, earning multiple plays from BBC Introducing. The band has since explored exciting studio collaborations, working with Cadien Lake James (Twin Peaks) on their first single, followed by sessions with Gregor Stobie (formerly of Dancing on Tables and now The New Shade). Most recently, the band teamed up with R. Andrew Humphrey—the architect behind major-influence Twin Peaks’ signature sound—to shape their latest track “Yes,” capturing the raw energy and spirit they sought.

Visually, the band’s aesthetic has been just as carefully curated, with artist and musician Chris Woodhead (Jamie T, Exlovers) providing the artwork for their run of singles, re-energising photos from the family archives that date as far back as the 1930s in the process.

In 2025, French Exit shows no signs of slowing down. With plans to release their debut EP remain busy live, the band is committed to pushing their sound to new heights—both in the studio and on stage.
