LYRICS:
Verse 1
Been working so hard on myself
Cause how can someone love you if you don’t love yourself
I didn’t even stop to let you in
Cause your warm embrace is all I’m feeling
Chorus
Because you, you make me feel safe
You’re just out here healing, a heart you didn’t even break
And you, no you didn’t even wait
You just took my demons and made them go away
You make me feel safe
Verse 2
My walls were high but you didn’t need to climb very far
Your kind eyes, warm heart, soft smile now they’re all mine
We talk about life, we talk about all night
We laugh all the time
We talk about kids as you kiss my lips
This is all I’ve ever wanted
Chorus
Because you, you make me feel safe
You’re just out here healing, a heart you didn’t even break
And you, no you didn’t even wait
You just faced my demons and made them go away
You make me feel safe
Bridge
The touch of your hand
The kiss on my head
Or when you call me beautiful
The feel of your skin as you’re listening
To every detail
Chorus
Oh you, you make me feel safe
You’re just out here healing, a heart you didn’t even break
And you, no you didn’t even wait
You just took my demons and made them go away
You make me feel safe
You make me feel safe
