Alexander Joseph – We Belong Here

Alexander Joseph’s latest single, We Belong Here, is a beautifully crafted and uplifting indie rock track. Alexander Joseph is one of our favorite singer-songwriters and we love his honest lyrics and captivating melodies, Alexander doesn’t disappoint with this release. The song was written to support the British wheelchair tennis players heading to the Paralympic Games in Paris and its motivational message comes through strongly.

The lyrics are sincere and they blend seamlessly with his rich vocals, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere. The instrumentation is simple but effective with a production quality that feels polished and professional. The overall vibe of the song is touching and hopeful, perfectly capturing the spirit of perseverance that athletes need at the highest level.

We think Alexander Joseph has once again proven his ability to create music that moves people. His passion shines through in We Belong Here, and it’s a song that will stick with you long after you hear it. If you’re looking for a track that feels motivational and heartfelt, this one’s definitely worth a listen!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

I’m a songwriter and artist based in the UK with a passion for writing uplifting folk tunes with the hope they’ll connect with people. I’m also a big sports fan having previously competed on the international tennis circuit, and some of my early songs were inspired during my time working within Paralympic sport.

Last year I released my third EP Stop and Breathe in support of One Tree Planted, with proceeds from streams going towards their impactful reforestation work around the world. My latest single Break Free was originally inspired by a poem written by Huw Phillips, and reflects on the frustrations of being stuck in a rut, alongside the desire to find a way out and discover pastures new.

BBC Introducing have been a big support of my musical journey so far, airing songs like Not Defeated and selecting Invincible & Now or Never as tracks of the week. They even gave Break Free a pre release spin! I was also recently nominated for ‘Best Folk Act’ at the Radio Wig Wam awards, which was a very pleasant surprise!

When I’m not writing music, I coach on the British wheelchair tennis programme and enjoy drinking a little too much coffee.
