Kat and the Hurricane – Therapy

Kat and the Hurricane’s new single, “Therapy” is an energetic and powerful anthem that blends synth rock and indie-pop into something unforgettable. From the moment the song starts, the energy grabs your attention and the polished production makes it an easy listen. The vocals, led by Kat Rhapsody and Benjamin Rose are vibrant and filled with emotion, while Alex Nelson’s drumming drives the track forward with a solid beat.

This song touches on a universal theme, releasing built-up stress and finding healing through catharsis. The message is clear, it’s okay to let things go, whether through therapy or music. This message feels especially timely, considering the song was penned during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many of us felt the weight of stress and uncertainty.

The chorus is catchy and you’ll probably find yourself humming it after a few listens. The instrumentation is creative and it showcases the band’s professional touch. The trio from Madison, WI, has found a unique way to combine loud, brash sound with a sense of joy and self-empowerment.

Overall, “Therapy” is a fun, defiant track that feels like a celebration of self-expression and mental health. Kat and the Hurricane have delivered a song that will easily find a home on any hits playlist, thanks to its upbeat tempo and relatable message. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to sing along and feel better at the same time.
