Forey’s compositions carry an original signature as does his soloing; he relies on tension-filled chord progressions mixing joy, pain and mystery. Edy’s voice is her own timber – one urging to deliver a message. The two met on the Edinburgh student circuit in 2017 and instantly bonded in their non-conformist approach to life, music, and the status-quo, and began working on their debut in 2020 at the onset of the first covid lockdown.
Their groovy debut record Culture Today due in April ’24 is a manifesto of sober-minded individuality taking on life in the XXI century.
